Crossover to the Future.

Navien UK, the world’s fourth largest boiler manufacturer brought its biggest-ever stand to the annual Installer Show held at the NEC Birmingham, UK. Off the back of the brand-new NCB ON boiler launch at Old Trafford, Navien saw an opportunity to showcase even more of its product range, increase market share, and further elevate the brand as the number one choice for UK installers.

The story.

Our objective was to showcase Navien’s brand-new products to the UK installer market. Wyatt International designed the stand, created new brand concepts, and executed the entire exhibition from communications, journalist engagement and film.

The thinking.

We spent some time exploring the key selling propositions of Navien’s boiler range, including the NCB ON AI boilers, Heat Pump, the Navien Multikit and the H2 100% Hydrogen boiler. Firstly, the NCB ON range utilises AI technology to help homeowners cut down on energy usage and spending. Secondly, Navien has one of the first fully hydrogen-powered boilers, making it far easier to make the switch to green energy solutions. The brand’s commitment to innovation, technology and sustainability shone through, making it a vital message for all visitors. Wyatt International placed this at the heart of the stand proposition and campaign: Crossover to the Future. This concept fuelled all facets of brand design, the exhibition space, all comms, and marketing materials.

The execution.

We spent time exploring the possibilities and how our Crossover to the Future concept could work seamlessly within the boundaries of the 17m by 12m exhibition space. Our designers created a brand concept that was sharp and sleek, an almost minimalist design that reflected the simplicity of Navien’s brand and product messages. We ensured that key messages and products were strategically positioned at the various stand entrance points, helping all visitors navigate their way to tomorrow and crossover to the future.

Wyatt International oversaw The Installer Show exhibition from start to finish. We managed the exhibition space design, installer, and journalist attendance, and created and executed all facets of the communications, which included live social media, media engagement and video.

Results

Ultimately, The Installer Show was a huge success for Navien. The new product ranges and launch of the NCB ON range was well-received by all attendees, with many installers, merchants and journalists commenting on design, theme, and overall delivery of the three-day exhibition.

In total, more than 1,100 installers and merchants visited the Navien stand, with more than 500 new registrations for the Navien Choice installer rewards programme. Navien saw PR coverage across eight top tier media titles, with 16 separate pieces of coverage. Website traffic saw an increase after the event of 18.34% for organic traffic, 107% for direct, and 168.42% from social media.

At Wyatt International, we’re immensely proud of this event and its success. The 2023 Installer Show was Navien’s largest event yet, and as their full-service integrated agency, we’re already planning further events and exhibitions to continue to fuel Navien’s exponential growth in the industry.
