RoSPA
The Client
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) was established over 90 years ago and is a registered charity/not for profit organisation.
Its role is to promote safety in all walks of life – at work, in the home, at school, on the roads, at leisure and in or near water.
The Campaign
At the beginning of 2000, Wyatt was approached by RoSPA to discuss whether key issues surrounding their in-house produced communications could be resolved through outsourcing.
Wyatt and RoSPA identified the following key objectives to be achieved through outsourcing:
- Enable RoSPA to focus on its core business
- Release management, financial and administrative resources
- Achieve greater creativity and pro-activity
- Make significant cost savings
To achieve the objectives Wyatt took on all the creative design work, as well as responsibility for the production of the three occupational safety journals: Occupational Safety & Health (OS&H), OS&H Bulletin (produced monthly), and Safety Express (produced bi-monthly). Another vital facility has been a dedicated print management service to ensure quality, competitive pricing and time-sensitive deliveries for all material.
A dedicated account manager also has been appointed to oversee the various areas of business to provide consistency and a clear point of contact for all RoSPA marketing personnel.
RoSPA’s design and print work has a vital role to play in educating and informing. Wyatt’s objective has been to apply our professional marketing, design, and print-buying skills to maximise the effectiveness of communications material, in the educational and informational process.
The Results
The fiscal result of this programme has been cost savings for RoSPA. Stylistically, RoSPA has also benefited from the delivery of consistent, progressive and value for money communications collateral.
The partnership established between Wyatt and RoSPA has seen Wyatt appointed for a total of nine years.
