Pan-European campaign win for Birmingham agency

Wyatt International, Birmingham’s leading independent marketing and PR agency is celebrating after winning a major contract to overhaul the branding and deliver pan-European marketing and communications for LINPAC Allibert, a division of the global LINPAC Group.

The contract will see Wyatt overhauling the company’s branding and bringing together all its communications across Europe, following the merger of LINPAC Materials Handling and Allibert Buckhorn in February 2007. Activity will cover internal and external communications and help to support marketing and PR in the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Wyatt will be retaining agencies in France, Germany and Spain from the International Network of Business Agencies to work as an extension of Wyatt as the lead agency.

LINPAC Allibert leads the market in Europe for the design and manufacture of Reusable Transit Packaging (RTP) and provides a range of supply chain support services. The company specialises in helping customers to achieve a reduction in total supply chain costs and enhanced sales through design and manufacturing of plastic returnable packaging, asset management, supply chain control systems and RFID enabled technology.

Jurjen Jacobs, Director Marketing & Innovation at LINPAC Allibert, based in Nanterre, France, explained: “We were very impressed by the thorough and planned approach that Wyatt took to delivering the task. The team has already demonstrated that it is very effective in working across multiple projects and driving delivery and is already having a very positive impact on our marketing activities.”

“Wyatt International is also supporting parent LINPAC Group with online and offline marketing and PR initiatives. The LINPAC Group is a £1.1 billion business made up of four core divisions which together offer customers packaging products and supply chain support services. The LINPAC Group works within a wide variety of markets including primary packaging for food, consumer packaging and returnable transit packaging.

Director of Client Strategy and Communications Mario Morby, who will head up the Wyatt team said:

“Following a competitive pitch against four international agencies we were appointed to provide a centralised full service communications consultancy. The account is driven by two core initiatives; local marketing communications and pan-european campaigns.

“At the moment we are focusing on core product launches and interim product literature whilst in the background a major brand development project is taking place. From international research to creative development, we’re going to be developing a European- wide brand positioning that will be delivered across key countries in a communications campaign designed to ensure consistency and coherency in all touch-points.”

Managing Director at Wyatt International Karen-Anne Bernie added: “This is a significant and exciting win for Wyatt. Our strong international experience and ability to manage potentially complex campaigns make us the ideal partner to work with LINPAC Allibert during such an important phase in the company’s development.”
