Construction industry giant appoints Wyatt for global rebrand

Wyatt International has been appointed by Terex Pegson and Powerscreen, global leaders in mobile crushing and screening equipment, to develop and align their brands as part of a long term strategy to link the sales and marketing operations of the two organisations.

The Birmingham-based branding and communications specialist won a competitive pitch to overhaul the companies’ international branding and communications, helping them support their global network of dealers and distributors and communicate more clearly with customers in the quarry, mining and recycling markets.

Terex Pegson and Powerscreen are sister companies, which have now combined to achieve the number 1 position in mobile crushing and screening. To meet the market’s ever-changing demands and needs, the two companies have realigned their global sales and distribution network to provide a broader range of products and services from one single source, designed to deliver improved performance to customers, who can now procure complete solutions from one partner.

Nicola Killen, who is heading up the initiative for Terex Pegson and Powerscreen explains: “The challenge is to improve and modernise the image for the joint companies to reflect the positive changes that we have made to the business. We wanted clear and consistent branding for all our global marketing and an improved portfolio of marketing tools for all our dealers. Wyatt International demonstrated a clear understanding of our requirements, and this combined with their extensive experience in similar branding projects in the construction and industrial marketplace made them the ideal partner to work with us on this important project.”
