Wyatt International, the Midlands’ longest-established branding and communications agency, has welcomed two new faces to its team – building on its best-ever year of growth and performance.

Chris Hill joins the Birmingham-based agency as Creative Director, with Alex Cooper arriving to head up the agency’s new-business drive as Brand Relationship Manager.

The hires bring a wealth of international brand and business experience to their respective roles – both originally hailing from South Africa, with Hill having crossed borders from Cape Town to work in Bahrain, Hungary and the UK, and Cooper boasting a wealth of experience, first in Cape Town, before moving to Italy and then settling in the UK.

They also share a portfolio of big brand work that’s as extensive as their international history. Hill, for example, has led creative campaigns for agencies including JWT, BBH, Saatchi & Saatchi and Momentum Worldwide, and delivered award-winning work for household names like Shell, Ford, Jaguar, IKEA and Cadbury. His task now is to build on Wyatt’s international B2B offering, leading the agency’s creative team to deliver outstanding work that brings to life the agency’s mission of challenging – and breaking – boundaries.

Cooper, meanwhile, joins fresh from Maserati, having worked as Corporate Sales Coordinator for the luxury marque’s UK activities. Prior to this, she enjoyed a varied career encompassing everything from art direction and creative design for cosmetics and medical brands, to founding her own international English Language Academy. Cooper now takes responsibility for establishing and enhancing Wyatt’s client relationships, nurturing stronger partnerships with both new and existing clients – a role previously led by the agency’s now-CEO, Karen Bernie.
