“If you need to know the measure of a man, you simply count his friends,” sang a festive Michael Caine (plus Muppets). And, after scooping the Public Relations gong at this year’s RAR Awards, we’d certainly agree.
The RAR – the Recommended Agency Register – is a compendium of the UK’s best-rated communications agencies; a fine fellowship whose members can only be found there by virtue of their clients’ recommendations.
While we’re already a regular presence on the Register, the RAR Awards themselves celebrate the best of the best over the last 12 months, with scores weighted by the number of ratings gained – so we’re thrilled to be counted the nation’s top PR agency in the words of our own clients.
But this post isn’t just about us – it’s about all the clients we value. So, in the spirit of the most awkward and cringe-inducing awards acceptance speeches of recent years, we’d like to thank all of our clients, from Armstrong and TEPPFA to Hygiene Group, Ideal Boilers and Crestchic, for their amazing ratings and words. Wonderful words like ‘exciting’ and ‘professional’, ‘friendly’ and ‘creative’, ‘solid thinking’ and ‘evidence’.
(We’d also like to thank our parents, children, siblings, partners, dogs, cats, goldfish, flatmates, careers advisors, that guy we always nod at on the train in the morning, the sun, the moon and Gary Busey.)
